Funk Fest Summer Block Party on Irby Ave

This summer, get ready to shake your booty meat at the biggest street party in Buckhead. The Pool Hall, 5 Paces Inn, John John and Peachtree Social Club proudly bring you the 5th installment of Funk Fest, an all-night shindig, featuring live bands, a tented festival area on Irby Ave, 1500+ sauced up hotties primed for maximum groovage... and of course, all the Pink Panty Pull-Downs your liver can tolerate. For your groovin' pleasure, this year's musical line-up features Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band, Dishwater Blonde, and The Shaggy Shaggy Disco Balls. They'll be starting a nuclear war on the dance floor that'll shake your tail feathers and rattle your groove thang until it falls right off and rolls around on the floor, at which point you will chase it down and drop it in a glass of cold milk until the doctor can do you a solid by re-attaching it to your get-down region. It's a delicate procedure but you will feel no pain. The afunkalypse begins Saturday, May 16th at 8PM.


Dress Code: Anything but popped collars. Dress code offenders will be promptly beaten with a hammer & removed from the party.
